Gapwork is an independent information provider specialising in gap years, gap year jobs, gap year vacancies, activities and voluntary work either in the UK or abroad.
Gapwork doesn't organise gap year activities for individuals, we simply keep our website up to date with the most exciting gap year vacancies, destinations and activities that are available. We also offer vital information on what a gap year candidate can do, where they can go, and how to make the most of their gap year, as well as where backpackers and young independent travellers can find work.
The information is aimed at students, independent travellers and backpackers – in fact, anyone who wants to take some time out!
We have been the UK's leading gap year jobs website since our launch in 1999. Our co-founders Kirsty Weir and Rebecca Jordan are still the directors and shareholders of the company.
We also work with the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office to promote awareness and safety issues for young travellers and are partners in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office's Know Before You Go Campaign.
