Volunteer with Nations Together on your gap year or summer holiday
Nations Together is a Non Profit Organisation offering volunteer opportunities to Tanzania, East Africa. This is a small corner of the world where any help given is gratefully received with heartfelt thanks.
They offer the chance for people of all nations, abilities and ages to volunteer and experience the wonders of Tanzania. Volunteers will help support the valuable and long established work of Light In Africa, based in the Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania. The founder Mama Lynn Elliott from the UK set up the organisation initially to offer a safe haven for children suffering with the HIV /Aids virus.
Every volunteer has different expectations and ideas of what a volunteer service is. Some volunteer on their own, some volunteer in small groups, and some in larger groups. The Nations Together volunteering team will spend time prior to your volunteer service discussing with you what it is you wish to achieve during you time and bring together a package which hopes to incorporate both opportunity for volunteering and experiencing the pleasures of Africa.
There are a variety of projects available and tailor made plans will be set in place to meet your needs as much as possible.
Voluntary placements can be tailored to suit the time you wish to spend in Tanzania so could be perfect as part of your gap year or summer holiday.
