Gapwork Gap Year Jobs Tips: Registering with a Temporary Jobs Agency

A good way to find temporary work on your working holiday or gap year is to register with a recruitment agency. You can do this whilst you are still in the UK by visiting their website and completing an online registration form or applying for any jobs that welcome international applicants. Registering will get you access to any job search and email alert facilities they may have and if you register with a large agency their job listings will most likely cover the vast majority of the countries you'll be looking for gap year work in. Registering before you leave the UK will give you a head start but, of course, there is no substitute for being there so don't expect any jobs to come knocking until you show your face in a local temping agency office and can show them that you have a working holiday visa, a bank account and a local address.
