Work with children at PGL’s activity centres in the UK, France or Spain
As the UK Government announces statistics on young adults forming a high proportion of the nation’s unemployed, PGL say don’t become part of this figure!
Each season, more than 2,500 energetic, enthusiastic people join the PGL staff team, working at one of the company’s 30+ locations across the UK, France and Spain.
PGL is the UK’s leading provider of residential activity holidays and educational courses for young people. Job roles include Activity Instructors, Catering Teams, Housekeeping Teams, Field Studies Instructors, French Tour Leaders and many more.
Previous experience and qualifications are not needed for all roles. Enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and the ability to relate with young people is more important.
Accommodation is provided; you’ll receive a competitive wage plus meals, uniform, return transport from a UK port to centres in France and Spain and comprehensive training including the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications.
PGL will be recruiting for their 2010 staff team from October with positions available to start working from January onwards.

Gapwork Gap Year Jobs Tips: Working in Europe
The great thing about Europe for a UK student, or an EU national is that there is no red tape to get through - no visa needed at all. This makes things a whole lot easier when deciding to travel and search for a job under your own steam. Things get even easier if you're fortunate enough to speak the local language and, although Europe is obviously affected by the Credit Crunch, there are still many temporary jobs available throughout Europe as employers look for short term help.
