Work in Alaska this summer with Alaska Wildland Adventures
Alaska Wildland Adventures offers Alaska summer jobs on the Kenai Peninsula and in Denali National Park. These seasonal jobs are based on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula and include positions that require skills and experience in the following fields: natural history interpretation; guiding; outdoor leadership and recreation; fish guiding; rafting; maintenance; and/or hospitality.
Employment for these seasonal jobs runs from mid-May through mid-September. However, the dates of employment vary slightly with each location. Some of the summer jobs may have flexible start and end dates, but applicants who are available for a full season of summer employment are preferred (May 12 to Sept. 15). They accept applications from overseas students with the appropriate Working Visa only.

Gapwork Gap Year Jobs Tips: USA Working Holiday Visa
In order to work a summer or a gap year in the United States, it is necessary for international applicants to be students and to have either a J-1 Exchange Visitors' Visa or an F-1 Visa. The J-1 allows for students' cultural exchange for work and travel, the F-1 allows for practical training. Getting a visa to work in America on your own is a real hassle but there are organisations that will help you through the application process - see our sections on Jobs in the USA and Destination USA for details of companies who will help you.
