Don't leave home without it!

Youth Hostel or Hotel - we don't mind but you really shouldn't plan to arrive in a country without anywhere to stay - sleeping on a beach may sound like a traditional backpackers thing, but thrust us the flies are plentiful, it's uncomfortable - and it's almost always illegal! We recommend that you get at least your first 2 nights hostel accommodation sorted before you stop on the plane.
