There are two ways to become a ski or snowboard instructor with EA. If you are looking to fast track your career in the snow sports industry, we recommend applying for one of our instructor internship courses. These courses are perfect if you want to break into the competitive snow sports industry or want to work as an instructor for a winter season. On an instructor internship, you will improve your skiing or snowboarding under the world's best instructors and sit your level one exam. Participants who gain their qualification by passing the exam get a guaranteed paying instructor job at their chosen ski resort.

EA Ski & Snowboard's internship courses are designed to give you a head start in the snow sports industry. On an EA course, you will receive internationally recognised qualifications and gain valuable work experience at one of the world's top ski resorts in a single season. You can then use the knowledge and expertise you obtain through your course to further your career and chase winter around the world.

The second way to become a ski or snowboard instructor is on an Instructor Training Course. Training courses run from 4 to 12 weeks and are perfect for anyone looking to improve their skiing or snowboarding, meet new people, gain an instructor qualification and have fun without committing to working for the remainder of the season. Training courses are perfect for travellers wanting to make the most of a winter season or for those who can't commit to a full season away. If you later decide that ‘winter seasoning’ is for you, we have more than 30 ski resort partners around the world we can set you up with an instructor job the following winter season.

All EA courses include world-class level one and two instructor training, level one qualification and exam costs, and the opportunity to include level two qualification, first aid certification, avalanche and freestyle training. You will also get accommodation while training, a full season lift pass, discounted flights and insurance, visa help, support for an EA manager while away, and much more.

"A piece of advice, if like me you were looking into this program but not sure if you are going to do it, take the plunge and do it, you won't regret it! Cypress is a beautiful mountain with a huge variety of terrain and mountain views on one side, and ocean views on the other, truly no other resort is quite like it, as for EA, these guys are with you from start to finish, making sure you have visas, accommodation, orientations all set upon arrival, they give you everything you need and are willing to help out as much as they can. I cannot recommend this program highly enough, it's incredible, and if you can, you should do it." Mitch, Cypress

“It was honestly something that I will remember in my life. I would encourage anybody else to get out there and give it a crack. You'll meet people from all over the world, and you get to do what you love every day.” Kurt, Northstar

"I would encourage people to try and do their Level 1 and 2 in the same season and take advantage of the avalanche and first aid courses EA offer. It's pricey, but the more qualified you are after that first season, the easier it is to progress through the ski instructor industry." Cody, Lake Louise
