Holiday and Ski Jobs
International Academy has been operating ski and snowboard instructor training courses in world class resorts including Whistler, Lake Louise and Cardrona (NZ) since 1997.
Through a first class instructor training programme you have the opportunity to gain recognised CSIA, CASI, BASI, NZSIA or SBINZ instructor qualifications. Many people who have completed an International Academy course have gained employment as an instructor at the resort where they trained, putting into practice all the relevant skills and experience they acquired having been part of the snow school set up for up to 12 weeks. Others have used their qualifications to gain employment at resorts around the world, as there remains huge demand for ski and snowboard instructors the world over.
For this winter, if you are looking for a great way to attain a ski or snowboard instructor qualification and then work as an instructor for the season, International Academy offer 5 week courses in partnership with Lake Louise Ski & Snowboard School that start in November and finish before Christmas. Kevin Eaton, Assistant Director at Lake Louise Ski & Snowboard School has stated:
"Anyone who has trained with our top Pros, skied for weeks at our World class Resort, and has committed to living and working in Canada for the season is guaranteed an employment interview. How could we not hire you?! "
- Kevin Eaton - Assistant Director Lake Louise Ski and Snowboard School
*** to be hired each successful candidate must obtain their own work permit, successfully pass the level 1 CSIA or CASI course, and successfully complete an employment interview.
As mentioned previously, we can offer guaranteed work placements in Europe with SkiBound over the February half term and / or Easter Holidays. These paid placements are available to people who successfully complete our early season Level 1 & 2 courses which start in November in Whistler, Val d’Isere – Tignes or Verbier.
