Outback option - this programme has been running for 20 years and guarantees work for up to a year after a highly regarded farm training course. Having been met off your plane at Brisbane, the programme starts with a long weekend at Rainbow beach to charge the batteries before the challenging but enjoyable farm training course in Queensland. You learn the basics of tractors, horses, motorbikes and vehicle maintenance. The course gives the right skills and mindset to be a good farm worker. At the end of the course you start your first job. You receive good rates of pay as well as food and accommodation.
Sydney option - this suits those who want to experience the buzz and beauty of Sydney whilst earning a decent wage. The aim of the programme is give you support to ensure you get a good job soon after you arrive whilst enjoying being part of a group. You are met at Sydney and stay two weeks at a comfortable, central backpackers while you get careers advice, attend interviews and undertake a course that qualifies you to serve drinks. There are also various social events, a city tour as well as a chance to meet others who have arrived on earlier programmes.
