Providing a range of paid and voluntary work placements worldwide

Changing worlds are very proud that one in five of our clients come from recommendations made by past volunteers, family or friends. We will be delighted to put you in touch with people who have been on one of our placements.

Changing Worlds is a small and personal company; we have been operating since 1999. Our aims are to provide interesting and challenging placements with a secure back up for our participants. We interview all potential clients to make sure you will cope with the challenges of the placement, and that you know us before you commit yourself. We also want you to be confident that you can come to us should you need help. We provide a thorough pre-departure briefing before you leave for your destination and our representatives will meet you at the airport and show you around before taking you to your placement.

Our representatives are all personal friends and are local to each placement, they pride themselves on taking good care of our participants, and they (like you) have direct contact with us at head office. One of the directors visits each destination every year to make sure things are running smoothly.

Changing Worlds has paid work placements in Australia and New Zealand, and voluntary placements in Argentina, China, Dubai, Ghana, Honduras, India, Kenya, Latvia, Romania, Serbia and Thailand.

The paid placements range from hospitality, airport work, outdoor education to work on a stud farm.

The voluntary placements range from teaching, journalism, law, medical, orphanage work, farming, airport, to a variety of other work.

The prices vary from around £2000, to £4000 but this includes flights, the services of the representative, pre-departure briefing, and in many cases food and accommodation for three to six months.

We are active members of the Year Out Group, belong to the Foreign office "Know before you go" campaign, and have an ATOL licence.
