Sporting Opportunities offer this fantastic project based in the coastal town or Port Elizabeth in South Africa. You will be working with young people in schools or in townships, coaching them on their teamwork sklls and general football abilities. This includes organising matches, drills and coaching the groups of boys and girls who are often from some very deprived backgrounds. There is a real passion for football in South Africa, but talented young people miss out on formal coaching and training. Sporting Opportunities offer this program as just one of many coaching projects available in Africa and elsewhere. You need to have a genuine passion for your sport, be it football, rugby, hockey or netball, and play at school, club or university team level. This project in South Africa can last from 4-12 weeks, and costs from £995, which doesn't include your flights, but does include your accommodation, food, pre-departure support and advice, orientation and in-country staff to support you when you are over there.
