Milkers required in rural Queensland
This job is based at a dairy farm deep in rural south east Queensland. The farmers are looking for farmhands who can help with milking the cows, feeding calves, bringing the cows in on a quad bike or motorbike, fencing, driving tractors and harvesting hay. You don't need to have specific experience, but you do need to be really keen to work, with a great attitude, and a willingness to learn. The job includes accommodation, but not food, and is for a 3 month period. If you want to experience a completely different side to Australia, then working on a ranch is a great way to do it. You will be outdoors a lot of the time, doing physical work, and working as part of a close knit team. This would be a great opportunity for anyone interested in agriculture, animal husbandry or a related course at uni.
