Ghana Volunteering with PoD

Monday 21st May 2012

PoD Volunteer is excited to announce a new opportunity for volunteers in a village in Ghana. Volunteers are needed to work with a small charity helping with a variety of building, child care, film & photography, sports and teaching roles in tropical villages in Western Africa. Volunteers will help to build a brighter future for some of the world's poorest communities and work in a team of local volunteers. This is a fantastic opportunity to live in the heart of a Ghanaian village and be part of the charity's life changing development work which aims to provide safe drinking water, improved education and increased sanitation to local communities.

Past volunteer Jonas summed up his time volunteering by saying "Go, it will probably be one of your best experiences in life! There is more love there then I could possibly give back! There is so much more that needs to be done and I just want go back tomorrow and start digging! The time I spend in the village made me see more of Africa than the rest of my trip across Ghana.
