UK Snowsports Summer Weekender

Monday 21st September 2009

Natives.co.uk and Ski Club of Great Britain present the UK Snowsports Summer Weekender in Zermatt

Now in its fourth year, the UK Snowsports Summer Weekender will take place in the famous resort of Zermatt this summer. Running from 15-18 July, the Weekender is a chance for anyone connected to the UK Snowsports Industry to spend a weekend in the Alps with their fellow snow lovers.

The weekend involves two days of informal ski and snowboard racing on the glacier with the Ski Club of Great Britain giant slalom and the Metrosnow.co.uk dual slalom. There will also be the chance to take part in the Matterhorn Mystery Challenge and the Team Tournament, as well as time to take advantage of Zermatt’s summer activities including football, volleyball and a high ropes course.

The evenings will also be buzzing with a welcome dinner at Nelly’s bar and a fancy dress prize giving party on the final night.

The Summer Weekender is a perfect networking opportunity which has become one of the most famous fixtures on the UK Snowsports calendar - mainly due to how much fun the weekend is for all involved.

The Summer Weekender 2010 costs £149 including B&B accommodation, lift pass and entry to all the events and parties.

To travel on the Summer Weekender, you must be currently working (in the UK or Alps) for a tour operator, chalet company, travel agent, retailer, distributor or other employer in the snowsports industry, have worked a season or be about to, or be connected to the industry in some way.
